Welcome to "More Than" Condos for Canadians, a website
dedicated to helping our Canadian neighbors in your search
for Arizona properties.
You probably know many in your area that have purchased a
home or condo here in sunny AZ. But how can you navigate the
waters of a constantly changing market that may be
unfamiliar to you? We hope to be the answer to that
question.
The Phoenix area has experienced a significant decrease in
home prices over the past 2 years. In some areas, prices
have decreased as much as 50% from the high water mark set
in 2005. But recent statistics show a drastic increase in
both sales and sale prices, and strong evidence that our
local market "bottomed out" in April of this year. We can
provide you with statistics that show you real information
that can affect your purchase decision.
Sales volume has increased in the Phoenix area by more than
200% per month since May 09. Let us wade through this
rapidly changing market for you!

that might cause you to change your mind.
First, the Canadian dollar is nearly at parity with the U.S.
Dollar. Several web sites that track currency trends
say that it may rise and fall around par for the next few
months. Meanwhile, our home prices are increasing. In fact,
a little research shows that for homes sold so far this year
that were priced under $150,000, the actual sales price is
higher than the listed price. Over the next 2 months, we
expect a great deal of sales activity due to the income tax
credit deadline for US buyers. Are pricing increasing? Yes
they are. Don’t wait any longer—you’ll pay more!
